What's Groovin'

 

At PeaceGrooves, we believe that YOU(th) can make a difference today, not just in the future. What is PeaceGrooves? Good question.

 

PeaceGrooves is a project of two brothers who love the Prince of Peace and games.

 

We founded PeaceGrooves because we’re tired of games that promote violence and because we think YOU(th) deserve better.

 

We also think YOU(th) can be a part of what that “better” is. Games are fun and they can be powerful teaching tools as well.

 

So what’s stopping YOU(th) from developing exciting games that promote peace? Wanna help?

 

Are you someone who likes to play/create games, video or otherwise, is passionate about Jesus, and loves peace?

 

Are you a writer, artist, computer geek, and/or generally creative sort? We invite YOU(th) to “Get in the Groove.” Here are some ideas:

     

     

    • Visit the PeaceGrooves website (www.peacegrooves.com) (which you are doing now). Check out the nonviolent games we have found on the web. Learn about our current projects and how you can help make them happen. Stop by often for updates.

    • Join the discussion on our WWJP? blog and Twitter. Watch Groovy Tube, our channel on You Tube, and comment. We’d love to hear from you.

    • Start a PeaceGrooves Club at your church. Contact us at and we’ll show you how.

    • Visit our seminar at the biannual Mennonite Church Convention. We have been at Columbus 09 and Pittsburgh 11. We hope to be at the next one. Help us get resources ready for youth who are coming to the conference.
